Thomas Pruett DeLoach, 70, of Demopolis, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14.
He was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Bay Minette to the late Thomas Heflin and Frances Burge DeLoach.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Heflin and Frances Burge DeLoach; sister, Darah D. Huckabee; and cousin, Forrest Kaulkner Ray.
He is survived by his nephews, Larry M. Huckabee of Demopolis, Jerry K. (Donna) Huckabee of Demopolis, and Grover C. Huckabee III of Kennesaw, Ga.; cousins from the Burge side, Charles (Mary) Jarrell of Temple, Ga., Esther Ruth (Kenneth) Parris of Temple, Ga., Annie Clyde (Joe) Whatley of Hartselle, Robert Rambo of Marietta, Ga., James Rambo of Atlanta and George Rambo of Williamsburg, Va.; and cousins from the DeLoach side, Elizabeth DeLoach, Robert W. (Gail) DeLoach, Martha (Frank) Nelson, Ralph (Patti) Rushing, Andrew Rushing, Carol (Don) Willis, Bobby Humphries, Mary Ann (James) Burkett, Fletcher DeLoach, Tyson (sue) DeLoach, Betty Lynn (Dwight) Milligan, Jean (David) Allen, Wilhelmina DeLoach, Cary DeLoach, John Kyle DeLoach and John (Kathy) DeLoach.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Demopolis with the Rev. David Willis officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 p.m.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas M. Huckabee, Brian K. Huckabee, Josh Fields, Frank Fields, Alfred Padilla and Dwight Milligan. Honorary pallbearers will be Southern Care Hospice and the couples and singles class at First United Methodist Church.
