George Henderson Letson, 68, of Demopolis, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, at his residence.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel.

Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 8, 1946, in Demopolis to the late Roy and Ethel Connor Letson.

He was preceded by his parents, Roy and Ethel Connor Letson; wife, Shelby Letson; sisters, Margie Moore and Betty Lou Jowers; brothers, Roy Letson and Michael Letson.

He is survived by his daughters, Christy Brasfield of Columbus, Miss., and Georgette Letson Marlow of Forkland; sister, Inez Watson of Brewton; grandchildren, Kim Brasfield, Jordan Marlow, Peyton Marlow and Shawn Ramos; and great-grandchildren, Tegan Brasfield and Tyce Brasfield.

Pallbearers will be Paul Foster, Eric Snodgrass, Dee Raney and Lorenzo Jackson.
