The second annual “Special Needs Fun Day” will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Foscue Park in Demopolis. Activities will take place from 9 a.m. until lunch at noon; there will be fun for everyone.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, area businesses, volunteers, and individual donors have made this event possible. This year we are proud to emphasize the importance of these children having a fun day with their families. The event is free to any special needs child and their family.
Activities include the following: dog retrieving demos, giant slide, kayaking, ring toss, magic show, duck pond education, face painting and boat rides. There will be a bouncy house and slide to add to the fun.
Special guests include: Buddy Beaver, Russell Davis Magic show and the Demopolis firemen.
Please register your child in advance by calling Anne Cross at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Resource office at 289-3540 before May 27, 2015. You may register the day of the event but we would like to get an accurate account of attendants.
