Mr. Joseph T. Hester, 88, a native and resident of Choctaw County, AL
died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Colonel Robert L. Howard State
Veterans Home in Pell City. He was a member of New Grace Baptist
Church and had worked as Maintenance Supervisor at Ciba. Mr. Hester is
preceded in death by his wife, Leona Mae Hester; parents, Euleon
Monroe Hester and Mary Dee Hester; son, Joseph Ray Hester; brothers,
Euleon Leon Hester, Ray Taylor Hester, Rex Alton Hester, Norman Henry
Hester. He is survived by sons, Thomas L. Hester (Linda) of Silas,
Richard T. Hester (Angie) of Livingston; sister, Peggy Lee Tew
(Walter) of Millry; grandchildren, Gina Hudson (Howard) of Clara,
Amber Mozingo (Cody) of Clara, Ian Hester of Livingston;
great-grandchild, Shanen Parker Hudson of Clara. Visitation for Mr.
Hester will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 2,
2015 at North Oak Grove Baptist Church in Millry. Funeral Services
will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at North Oak
Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating. Interment will
be in North Oak Grove Cemetery.
