A special guest welcomed students at Westside Elementary to school Monday morning. Clifford, the Big Red Dog, a long-time children’s favorite character visited the school Monday for the opening of a Scholastic Book Fair. Children will be allowed to visit the library this week and shop around for their next favorite book. The fair is being held in conjunction with Grandparents Week and will continue through Friday at 3 p.m. Students are invited to visit the fair with parents or grandparents.
