A single-vehicle crash Sunday, Oct. 16, claimed the life of a Demopolis man.
William Harvey Large, 74, was killed when the 2014 Volkswagen Passat he was driving left the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and overturned. Large was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates that speed may have been a factor.
The crash occurred at 7 a.m. on Marengo County 19 four miles south of Demopolis.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
