Dewey Edward Chambless

Dewey Edward Chambless, 52, a millwright of Linden died Nov. 3, 2016 a Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Chambless was born Sept. 20, 1964 in Eutaw to Elijah Lee and Winnie Bell Chambless. He was member of Gallion Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa D. Chambless of Linden; son, Ward Anderson Chambless of Linden; and his sister, Elizabeth Thomason of Sevierville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Lee Chambless and Winnie Bell Chambless; and his brother, Lee Chambless.
Funeral services were held at Gallion Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nick Dorsey officiating. Burial was in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Providence, Alabama.
Active Pallbearers were: Lee Gibson, Darius Hill, Mike Averette, Michael Ashe, Jeff Maxwell, and Jimmy Murphy.
Honorary Pallbearers were: Robert Dixon, Joey Leys, Lynn Thomason, Robert Stone, Sammy Coats, and the employees of West Rock Rooster Bridge Chipper Mill.
