Residents and other drivers in Demopolis are being asked to avoid parking along certain streets currently undergoing repairs.

Demopolis Public Works Superintendent Mike Baker is requesting residents not park by the curb on the following streets: Commissioner Avenue, Main Street and Walnut Avenue on Mondays through Fridays from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Public Works is working to re-patch street cuts and potholes on these streets through April 15.

The department is planning to repave certain areas throughout the city and officials said they appreciate the public’s patience through the process.
