Demopolis attorney named to state bar board of commissioners

Demopolis attorney T. Thomas Perry Jr. has been named to the executive council of the Alabama State Bar.
The Alabama State Bar announced on Saturday, July 15, that Sam W. Irby of Irby & Heard P.C. in Fairhope assumed office as president-elect of the 18,100-member organization. Diandra S. Debrosse of Zarzaur Mujumdar & Debrosse LLC (Birmingham) was elected by the Board of Bar Commissioners (BBC) as vice president.
Also elected by the BBC were members of the Executive Council, including Perry of Manley Traeger Perry Stapp & Compton in Demopolis; George R. Parker of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP (Montgomery); and R. Cooper Shattuck (Tuscaloosa).
Executive Council members begin serving their terms immediately.
