Marengo County School System seeks children with disabilities

Marengo County Schools is seeking to identify children who may be in need of special education and related services.
Child Find applies to children from birth to 21 years of age who may need special education services, regardless of the severity of their disability. It also applies to children who attend private or religious schools and highly mobile children with disabilities (e.g. migrant children), homeless children, and children who are wards of the state within the Marengo County School’s jurisdiction.
To comply with state and federal requirements, the Marengo County School System is making an effort to locate, identify and evaluate individuals from birth to 21 years of age who have, or are suspected to have, a disability.
