Ronald George Cannon, 69, of Linden, died Jan. 9, 2018 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Cannon was born March 30, 1948 in Linden to Jimmie George and Mattie Lee Cannon. He was retired from Georgia Pacific Corporation and was a member of the Linden Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Donnie Cannon (Denice) and Andy Cannon; daughter, Sheila Glass (Charlie); a brother, Kenneth Cannon (Jan); 6 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda Cannon McClure

Funeral services were held at Linden Baptist Church on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park.

Active Pallbearers were: Brooks Cannon, Scott Cannon, Morgan LeCroy, Brian Cannon, Brent Taylor, and Doug Cannon.
