Sharon L. Popovich, 70, of Linden died Feb. 19, 2019 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa after a long battle with multiple serious health issues. There was no funeral and she was cremated as per her wishes.

Mrs. Popovich was born October 31, 1948 in Buffalo, New York to Lillian Prenatt. She was a devoted wife and mother and a talented artist and achieved her Associates Degree in Commercial Art from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in 1987. Sharon was a sweet woman who was loved by virtually everyone who met her and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Brackett of Linden. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her sisters Pat and Judy, and her brother William, all of Buffalo, New York.
