Aubrey Donald Dickson, 78, of Gallion died July 7, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Dickson was born Dec. 8, 1940 in Wilcox County, Alabama to Boyd and Vera Dickson. He was a retired truck driver and dispatcher with Dana Transport.

He is survived by his two children, Donald Boyd Dickson of Sweet Water and Savanna Cannon of Linden; two sisters, Barbara Hall of Demopolis and Donna Sue Dukes of Baldwin County, Alabama; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Dickson.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Warren Huggins and Rev. Robert Pearce officiating. Burial followed at Linden Memorial Park.

Active Pallbearers were George Overstreet, Gene Sammons, Byron Johnston, Ricky Langley, Darrell Cobb and Billy Bedsole.

Honorary Pallbearers were Robert Sammons, Jimmy Sammons, the staff of Comfort Care Hospice and his Dana Suttles Family.
