During the weekend of August 4-5, the Demopolis Adult Softball League held their first tournament. The tournament champion was Straight Smoke. The league is made up of 246 adults in Demopolis. Straight Smoke team members include Brian Hasty, Norman Averette, Hunter Colyar, Erin (Phillips) Dixon, Jacob Dunn, Joshua Dunn, Shonna H. Foxhall, Brian Hasty, Elyse McIntyre, Coleman McClendon, Mitchell Milam, Dustin Pounders, Jacob Rodrigues, Bridget Cox, Kayla Leigh Tubbs, Eric Wilkinson, and Lindsay Osborne Wilkinson.
