WAMHC registering now for ‘Mental Health First Aid’

The West Alabama Mental Health Center will host “Adult Mental Health First Aid” Training on Monday, Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the center located at 1215 S. Walnut Avenue.
Similar to first aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid helps those experiencing mental health problems before they can get professional help and support. The class is open to the general public, first responders, educators, local leaders, and pastors.
