UWA’s SBDC event to be held in Demopolis

The University of West Alabama’s Small Business Development Center will host a rural outreach event for the area business community on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Demopolis. The event will provide business finance information through a network of organizations and resources. There is no cost to attend, but registration is recommended.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development, Small Business Administration (SBA) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will join with area organizations including the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce to discuss and explore capital access and investment programs.

The event is of particular interest to business owners, lenders, economic developers, chambers of commerce, and financial institutions.
