Demopolis Board of Education calls special meeting for personnel changes
The Demopolis City Board of Education held a special-called meeting Monday morning to handle several personnel items before students return to school following the winter break.
Among the personnel changes approved was the resignation of Alaric Shawn Castleberry as the band instructor at Demopolis Middle School. The board also approved a longterm substitute position for Mary Sue Moore, beginning Jan. 6.
Other items approved by the board was related to travel for Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff who will be attending two out-of-state professional development programs, both in Georgia.
