Minnie Catherine Etheridge, 88, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Minnie was born in Green County, AL and at an early age she moved to Demopolis, AL where she grew up. In 2015 she moved to Gulf Breeze, FL to live with her daughter. She enjoyed word search books, flowers, Christmas cactuses, bird watching, and had a special love for hummingbirds. She also enjoyed traveling, she especially enjoyed her trips to Graceland, Dollywood, Disney World and Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
Most of all, she adored spending time with her beloved family.

Minnie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon Etheridge; parents, Perrin & Lizzie Lee; granddaughter, Brittany McNamara and sisters, Mary Jo Evans and Betty Jean Speed.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Joe Etheridge (Karen) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Thomas Leon Etheridge of Demopolis, AL; daughter, Patsy Whiddon of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren, Christina Kreuger (Adam), Rodney Etheridge (Tiffany), Katrina Sprinkle (Shane), Kevin Whiddon (Karen) and Cameron Whiddon; great grandchildren, Ryan & Kyle Kreuger, Chris, Nathan & Lauren Sprinkle and Avery Whiddon.

Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, AL, with Richard Scott officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Etheridge, Kevin Whiddon, Cameron Whiddon, Shane Sprinkle, Adam Kreuger and Sean Smith.
