Anna Bambarger Yeager, age 91, of Demopolis, AL passed away September 26, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services were 2:00 pm Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, AL with Michael Lamb officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation followed the service at the graveside. The family requested everyone dress casual and wear bright colors – it’s what she liked.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Yeager, Jr.; son, Gratton Lee Yeager; her parents; brothers, Roy James Bambarger, Jr. and William Thomas Bambarger; sister, Rachel Bambarger Lamb; nephew, Robert Gordon Bambarger; niece, Elizabeth Bambarger Dooley; daughter-in-law, Susan Liles Yeager and various in-laws and cousins.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Fowler (Randy); son, Keith Yeager (Audrey); five grandchildren, Kory Fields (Skip), Morgan Nelson (Harris), Kendall Ferrell (Trey), Bryan Yeager (Ashley) and Sam Yeager; six great-grandchildren, Stevie Fields, Daniel Thomas, Mia Ferrell, Marley Ferrell, Laney Fields and Orlo Yeager and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Yeager was born July 15, 1930 in Eutaw, Alabama to the late Roy James Bambarger, Sr. and Anna Ruth Gordon Bambarger. She was a member of First Christian Church in Demopolis, AL for more that 60 years and retired bookkeeper for West Alabama Thermogas Co.
Pallbearers were Skip Fields, Harris Nelson, Trey Ferrell, Bryan Yeager, Sam Yeager and Daniel Thomas.
Honorary Pallbearers were the men of First Christian Church.
