Beatrice Holt Johnson, age 82, of Farmington Hills, MI passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born on March 6, 1939 in Thomaston, AL the daughter of Jordan Holt and Rebecca (Kalsew) Holt. Happily married to David Johnson I (deceased) on October 24, 1959.

Beatrice graduated from Marengo County Training School in 1957 and was an alumni of Highland Park Community College (Associate), Wayne State University (Undergrad in Business) and Eastern Michigan University (Masters in Education). Her first love was for books and the pursuit of knowledge, and standing between childhood and adulthood she moved to Detroit, MI.

Beatrice is survived by her children, David Johnson II and daughter in love; Karen, Robin Cash and son in love; John and Kimberly Johnson and son in love; Timothy Campbell. Her absence will create a gap for her greatest joys, her grandchildren; Rachel Cash, Leah Cash, David Johnson III and Jacob.  Her grandson, John Evan (deceased) held a special place in her heart as did she in his.   She’ll be sorely missed by her treasured sister (Hattie (Alfounsia) Hill), her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
