Grover Franklin Seale age 75, of Demopolis, AL passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he was known to most as Frank or Gramps. Born to Grover and Agnes Seale of Boligee on June 18, 1946, he was pre-deceased by his parents.
Frank met the love of his life Brenda Dedmon in high school, and they were married on August 29th 1964.
Frank was a lineman for Black Warrior Electric Company, where he worked and assisted his fellow neighbors for 36 years.
While everyone knew Frank loved to fish, his real passion was his family. Frank (Gramps) never missed an opportunity to cheer on his kids, then his grandkids, at all their sporting events and activities, and Gramps could always be coerced into going for ice cream. He treasured any and all family gatherings and celebrations, and could usually be found with the kids, sneaking extra desserts. Gramps’ presence at those events will be sorely missed but memories of him will always be celebrated by those who succeed him: wife, Brenda, sons, William Seale (Crissy), Samuel Seale (Rosa); daughter, Cynthia Seale (Andrew); and “adopted” daughter, Angela Lewis (Thomas); sister, Elaine Cole (Danny); and grandchildren, Jessica, Chase, Julia, Orrin, Helen, Gunner, Andrew, Hunter, Ty, Melanee, Emilee Grace, Anna Carol; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Demopolis, AL on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 307 S. Main St., Demopolis, Alabama 36732.
Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.
