The Demopolis City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children and teens ages 1-18 and special needs children or persons up to 21 without charge. The program begins Monday, June 6 through July 22.
Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Sites include U.S. Jones Elementary School at 715 East Jackson St. with Patrick Allen serving as the site supervisor, Westside Elementary at 1725 Mauvilla Dr. with Tara Harris as the site supervisor, Demopolis High School at 701 Hwy. 80 West with Kesha Wilson acting as site supervisor, Demopolis Middle School with Catrinia Perkins as site supervisor, and the Demopolis Housing Authority at 808 East Pettus St with Minnie Evans serving as site supervisor.
Breakfast will be served from 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at WES and USJ only. Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
