David Leon Hill age 89 of Demopolis, AL died May 30, 2022 at his home. He was born June 22, 1932 in Calvary, AL to Johnnie Nathaniel and Lillie Belle Hill. He was a retired turbine operator with Gulf States Paper Corporation. He was a member of Canal Heights Church of Christ and was a US Army veteran.

He was survived by his son, David L. Hill, Jr. (Caroline); two daughters, Carol McDaniel and Debra Gentry; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at Canal Heights Church of Christ on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 am with Bryan Cook officiating. Burial followed at Demopolis Memorial Gardens.
