The Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center will be conducting a community outreach event in Demopolis on Tuesday, August 8. The event will take place at Vowell’s Market Place at 625 US Hwy. 80 E from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will provide resources and information about services that are available to veterans through the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and Birmingham Vet Center. Information includes how to enroll for VA services, primary care services, mental health services, job training/job opportunities, telemedicine, homeless programs, women’s programs, My HealtheVet, rural veteran programs, and student veteran programs.
