The Canebrake Players will be putting on the musical Nunsense from August 11 through August 14. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. on August 11, 12, and 14 and at 2:30 p.m. on August 13. The Canebrake theater is located at 601 S Main Avenue. Don’t miss this hilarious show!

Nunsense is a musical comedy by Dan Goggin in 1985 and is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. The concept for the musical originated as a line of greeting cards featuring a nun offering tart quips with a clerical slant. The cards caught on so quickly that Goggin decided to expand the concept into a cabaret show called The Nunsense Story.
