Sweet Water Bulldogs breeze past St. Luke’s Episcopal

The Sweet Water Bulldogs had no trouble against the Wildcats of St. Luke’s Episcopal Friday. The Bulldogs soundly defeated their opponent 42-7.
Nate Norris, Deshanard Blanks, Ethan Carr, Elliot Lucy, Parker Townsend, and David Etheridge handled the scoring for the Bulldogs. Norris had two touchdowns throughout the game while Blanks, Carr, Lucy, Townsend, and Etheridge all had one touchdown each.
Norris completed two of five passing attempts for 63-yards and one touchdown.
Rushing yards for the Bulldogs saw Blanks with 197 yards, Carr with 81 yards, Lucy with 55-yards, and Delvontae Lucy with 21-yards. Receiving yards for the Bulldogs had Etheridge with 53-yards and Parker Townsend with 10-yards.
Sweet Water will not be playing this Friday as they have an open date. The Bulldogs will return to football action on Nov. 10 for the first round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) for the 1A classification.
