Demopolis City Schools provide extensive opportunities for identification of children who may have a disability requiring Special Education Services. Children ages birth to 21 may receive a Free Appropriate Public Education through Child Find, a State funded program.
Services are available through the Demopolis City Schools for all eligible children with disabilities from ages 3 to 21.
Contact the Alabama Early Intervention System at 800-543-3098 for children from birth to age two.
Parents of children residing in Demopolis City or enrolled in Demopolis City Schools who suspect their child may have a disability are encouraged to contact the Demopolis City Board of Education at 334-289-1670.
