A Uniontown man was killed in single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16.

Dewayne L. Harris, 43, was critically injured when his 2008 Dodge Ram left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned. Harris was transported to Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on Alabama 25 near the 31 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Faunsdale, in Marengo County.

No further information is available at this time.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
