The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles scheduled 90 parole hearings and 29 pardon hearings for the week of Dec. 5 – Dec. 7. Among those scheduled for parole hearings is Marengo County inmate Yahudah Israel. 

A parole hearing for Israel is scheduled for Dec. 6.

Israel is serving time for a 2013 conviction and is incarcerated at the Fountain Correctional Center in Atmore. Israel was convicted for Rape First Degree and Rape Second Degree and began serving time for these charges  Nov. 11, 2013. He has served 10 years of an 18 year sentence.

He has a minimum release date of Aug. 20, 2025.
