Demopolis Rotary Club Kids at Christmas 2023

- Kids at Christmas is a project the Demopolis Rotary Club has been doing for many years. This year, the Rotary Club sponsored 19 children. Each child had a Rotarian or other volunteer to escort them. Photo courtesy of the Demopolis Rotary Club.

The children and their escorts went to WalMart and picked out a toy, coat, hat, gloves, socks, underwear and an outfit and then to the Shoe Department for a new pair of shoes.
Students from Westside Elementary School were able to go shopping for Christmas presents last week with members of the Demopolis Rotary Club. The shopping trip was made possible by donations from Rotarians and other generous people.
The children and escorts rode the bus from Westside. At lunch with the Rotary Club, each student introduced themselves and said what they enjoyed most about the day. They were then taken back to WES.
