Hebrews 3:12-13 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

We are learning more and more about the organs of our wonderfully made bodies. Science is continually moving forward.

Our heart problems begin with turning to self, pride, and anger, leading a lot of times to depression and suicide. Those are not the answers.

God’s Word tells us the answer. Do not harden your heart. Proverb 28:14 says, “Whoever hardens their heart will fall into calamity.”

Proverb 4:23: “Keep your heart with all diligence for from it flows springs of living waters.”

Isaiah 55:6: “Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near.”

Next week, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day. This year, give your heart a health check. Love is the answer. Jesus IS love. He desires to give you a new heart. His love never fails. I encourage you to begin anew. If you need help, find a practicing, devoted Christian to talk with you.
