Winter Jazz Melody

Two Rivers Arts Council presents Winter Jazz Melody featuring the Market STreet Jazz Band March 2 at the Demopolis Civic Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event is “bring your own beverage” with a $20 cover charge.

The Linden City Council will meet on Mar. 5 at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall. The public is invited to attend.

Demopolis City Council

The Demopolis City Council will meet on Mar 7 at 5:15 p.m. at Rooster Hall. The work session begins at 4:45 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

County Commission

The Marengo County Commission will meet March 12 at 9 a.m. in the downstairs courtroom of the Marengo County Courthouse in Linden.

The Demopolis City School Board will meet March 18 at 5:15 p.m. at the Central Office on South Cedar Avenue.

Marengo BOE

The Marengo County School Board will meet March 28 at 4 p.m.

Linden BOE

The Linden City School Board meets March 25 at 4:30 p.m. downstairs at the Central Office next door to City Hall.

Demopolis Farmer’s Market

The Demopolis Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon downtown in Public Square.

Chamber Celebration

The 108th Annual Chamber Celebration and Awards reception will be held April 11. Arrival and socializing begin at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:15 p.m. Secure reservations or sponsorship by contacting the chamber at (334) 289-0270.
