Steven Floyd Knight, 64 of Columbus, Mississippi passed away Thursday, Feb. 22 in Ethelsville.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Pickensville. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Brother Tim Jones officiating.  Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Knight was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Demopolis to Betty Joyce Dixon Knight and the late Thomas Earl Knight. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Pickensville, and retired in 2021 from Gulf Coast Marine Supply. Mr. Knight loved rabbit hunting, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed making fishing lures. In addition to his father, Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his brother – Thomas Scott Knight. 

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife Candace Hood Knight; sister Vanessa (Joe) Hicks; Nephews Steven Todd (Haley) Hicks and Michael Hood; nieces Nikki Hood and Kristen (Brandon Weir) Hood; great nephew Oliver Hicks; great nieces Anna Grace Hicks and Davina Hood; mother Betty Joyce Dixon Knight and his In-laws Mike and Barbara Hood.
