Three Demopolis youth softball teams show out in tournaments

Three teams from Demopolis took home trophies from tournaments this past weekend.
The 10U and 12U softball teams all won their pre-area II tournaments in Gilbertown while the 8U team took home second place in their bracket.
Demopolis will host the area tourney this weekend on Friday and Saturday at the Demopolis SportsPlex.
Team members for 8U team include Mia Etheridge, Riley Hamner, Hannah Johnson, Lucy Kimbrel, Olivia King, Kamiyah Matthews, Maddie Mayben, Paxton Randall, Helen Reynolds, Sara Morgan Sims, Katelyn Smith and Karoline Sommers. The coaches are Scott Kimbrel, Brent King, Daniel Hamner, Josh Johnson, Jay Reynolds and Lindsey Sims.
Team members for the 10U team include Kyleight Armstead, Ava Dussett, Bailey Hewitt, Langston Pendergrass, Trinity Perkins, Sydni Pritchett, Bradleigh-Mae Royster, Elizabeth Washburn and Elly Grace Wilkinson. Coaches are Walton Washburn, Heath Randall, Eric Wilkinson and Jonathan Royster.
Team members for the 12U team include Ansley Basinger, Anne Sutton Beard, Kaliyah Cunningham, Carlina Dunklin, Ruby Edmonds, Aubree Etheridge, Kendall Gandy, Sadie Jordan, Emily Parten, Anna Claire Quarles, Hadley Smith and Emmalyn Washburn. Coaches are David Beverly, Kevin Jordan, Justin Etheridge and Trey Gandy
