On Friday, June 28, at 6 p.m, tenor Dylan Colburn will take the stage at the Greensboro Opera House for an evening of beautiful music which will include tunes from Broadway to Elvis with Italian opera thrown in.
Born in Tuscaloosa and raised in Moundville, Colburn attended Greensboro Baptist Church and now lives in Demopolis where he is the full-time worship pastor of the Fairhaven Baptist Church. Colburn has a lifetime of music performance and education, having started his singing career at age 3 with his parents and uncle’s gospel group. He graduated from Hale County High School, attended Shelton State Community College where he earned his Associate of Arts degree, then on to the University of Mobile where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in music.
The Greensboro Opera House is a beautifully restored performance and event venue in downtown Greensboro. It is the jewel of this quaint Alabama town. Admission is free, and a reception will follow Colburn’s performance.
