Alabama Power emergency crew member Ranby Baker assesses damage caused by a fallen oak tree at 301 South Walnut Monday. The tree fell during a strong thunderstorm that moved through Demopolis during the afternoon, although Baker said the storm itself did not cause the tree to fall.
