Deacon Willie Jackson, 69 of Demopolis, the beloved husband of Ruby Jackson of Demopolis, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 2 at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 11 at noon at the Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Fred D. Moore officiated. Interment followed in Demopolis Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include a devoted wife of 12 years, Ruby Larkin-Jackson; three children, Vickie (Sylvester) Daniels of Jefferson, Keita Jackson of Meridian, Miss., and LaShawn (Vincent) Turner of Huntsville; four grandchildren; one brother, Tommy L. Jackson of Detroit, Mich.; father-in-law, Marvin Larkin of York; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; seven nieces; 13 nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives, church families and friends.
