Demopolis Police incident reports for the period ending Dec. 23

The following are the incident reports for the Demopolis Police Department for the period ending Dec. 23:

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, police responded to a report of leaving the scene of an accident at U.S. Highway 80 East. A driver’s side mirror and the paint and body of a vehicle were damaged.

On Thursday, Dec. 19, police responded to a report of theft of an article from an auto at East Perry Street. A vehicle tag was stolen.

On Thursday, Dec. 19, police responded to a report of third-degree theft of property at Arcola Road. A set of socket wrenches, three semi truck batteries, semi truck tires, pickup truck tires, a three-inch drive wrench, a 1/2 drive drench and a battery charger were stolen.

On Friday, Dec. 20, police responded to a report of theft from a public building at Fred’s. Drugs/narcotics/Lortabs were stolen.

On Friday, Dec. 20, police responded to a report of theft from yards at West Jackson Street. Faulk shaft mounted gear box, large springs and large allen head bolts and miscellaneous metal were stolen.

On Friday, Dec. 20, police responded to a report of simple assault at Old Springhill Road.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, police responded to a report of shoplifting. Brazilian virgin human hair was stolen.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, police responded to a report of gas drive off at BP Highway 80 East.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, police responded to a report of criminal mischief-damage to private property at South Walnut Street. A drive-thru sign was damaged.

On Saturday, Dec. 21, police responded to a report of miscellaneous theft. Wells Fargo credit/debit cards and a Galaxy Notebook 2 cell phone were stolen.

On Sunday, Dec. 22, police responded to a report of a missing person at the Demopolis Civic Center.

On Sunday, Dec. 22, police responded to a report of third-degree theft of property at Highway 80 West. Puma shoes were stolen.

On Sunday, Dec. 22, police responded to a report of drug paraphernalia-second offense at Highway 80 West. Drugs/narcotics equipment and a Matel grinder were confiscated.
