Delia Wiggins

Mrs. Delia Wiggins, 83, of Sawyerville, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at DCH Northport.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at Palestine Baptist Church in Sawyerville with Rev. Hayward Brown officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at the Washington and Paige Chapel in Greensboro.

The body will lie in state Saturday from noon to 1 p.m.

Burial will be held in Wiggins Cemetery under the direction of Washington Paige and Rollins Mortuary in Greensboro.

John Henry Rogers Jr.

John Henry Rogers Jr., 70, of Demopolis, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Beth-Salem Cemetery in Boligee with Rev. Rob Wynne and Rev. Kenny Overstreet officiating and under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.

He was a district manager for Black Warrior Electric for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine B. Rogers of Demopolis; two daughters, Donna (Brooks) Jones and Linda R. (Jerry) Drummond, both of Boligee; a son, Rickey (Leslie) Rogers of Boligee; two step-sons, Jeff Ethridge and Barry (Denise) Ethridge, both of Forkland; a brother, Albert (Cynthia) Rogers of Greensboro; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Frank Seals, Michael O. Barnes, Ben Jackson, Robert Tutt, John Barnes and David Moseley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Black and all the employees of Black Warrior Electric.

Flowers or donations may be sent in his honor to the charity of your choice.
