Waldemar Gerhardt Stern, 82, of Demopolis died Dec. 5 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis.

Born Jan. 15, 1929 in Plum City, Wisc. to the late Maxamilian F. and Vera Wilkins Stern, he was preceded in death by his parents, son James G. Stern, one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife Marjory Ann Sartore Stern, daughters Cynthia M. (Ken) Nichols of Scottsville, N.Y. and Margaret A. Christian of Horicon, Wisc., son Ronald K. (Kathy) Stern of Hustisford, Wisc. and seven grandchildren: Amy, Kimberly, Michael, Zachary, Jessica, Brandy and Rickie.

A funeral service will be held at a later date in Oconomowoc, Wisc. with burial in Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia, Wisc.

Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel is in charge of local arrangements and Pagenkopf Funeral Home will be directing the Wisconsin services.
