JEFFERSON &8212; Betty Jean Taylor, 66, of Jefferson, died Oct. 19, 2007, at Bryan W. Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at the First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Jefferson. The Rev. Edmond Charleston officiated. Deacon Jesse Wheeler was the master of order.

Survivors include a husband, Frank Taylor Sr. of Jefferson; nine children, Beatrice Taylor and husband, Anthony, of Jefferson, Isaac Taylor and wife, Caroline, of Seattle, Wash., Shirley Merriweather and husband, Eddie, of Jefferson, Eddie Taylor and wife, Glenda, of Mobile, Rickie Taylor and wife, Sharada, of Savannah, Ga., Thomas and Danny Taylor of Jefferson, Maggie Holloway and husband, Corey, of Demopolis, Regina Anita Jefferson and husband, Travis, of Gaithersburg, Md.; 37 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
