In the Sept. 19 Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, Demopolis makes it’s first appearance of the season in the Class 5A top 10.

The Tigers are no. 10 in the poll and are 3-0 on the season and coming off of a 41-14 win over Saraland last week.

In Class 2A, Sweet Water (2-1) is holding strong at the no. 5 spot after a 32-0 win over Millry.

In Class 1A, Linden continues to hold the no. 2 position behind Marion County. The Patriots are 3-0 this season and defeated St. Luke’s 34-14 last week.
