The following arrests were reported for the period Sept. 8 – Oct. 6:

September 8

Kenneth King, 48, of Uniontown, was arrested for harassment.

September 19

Patrick Lamond Morgan, 19, of Uniontown, was arrested at Cahaba Heights Apartemnts for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

September 25

Orlando James, 19, 32 Magnolia Ave., Selma, was arrested for possession of a handgun without a permit on U.S 80 E in Uniontown.

September 26

Gregory Clark Reese, 37, of 1304 Lapsley St., Selma, was arrested for DUI on U.S 80 E in Uniontown.

October 1

Timothy Shepherd, AKA Man, 30, of Rt. 1 Box 12 Uniontown, was arrested at his residence for third-degree assault.

October 5

Katrina Whitherspoon, 22, of P.O. Box 734, Uniontown, was arrested for criminal mischief at UPD.

October 6

Christopher Witherspoon, 42, of P.O. Box 734, Uniontown was arrested at city hall for third-degree assault.

Dana Witherspoon, AKA Dana, 20, of 502 East Ave., was arrested at city hall for third-degree criminal mischief.

The following arrests were made by the Livingston Police Department:

October 5

Jimmie Dillard Ford, 62, of Epes was arrested and charged with giving false name to law enforcement and contempt of court. Ford was taken to the Sumter County jail.

October 8

Spencer S. Carlisle, 28, of Toxey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Carlisle was taken to the Sumter County jail.

October 10

Mario Matthews, 23, of Livingston was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing. Matthews was arrested after officers discovered him inside a residence. Matthews was taken to the Sumter County jail.

The following incident-offense reports were recorded:

October 4

A resident of a local apartment complex reported that an acquaintance broke a porch light to her apartment. The suspect was upset over a conversation that had taken place. The case is under investigation.

October 10

Management of the Chevron reported that a driver of a vehicle forgot to remove the hose from the car. As the car pulled off, it pulled the hose from the pump. The case is under investigation.
