Five facing drug charges after home searches

The Marengo County Sheriff’s Office along with other local law enforcement agencies arrested five people and seized more that $8,000 in cash, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia , marijuana and a handgun.
The sheriff’s office and other agencies executed search warrants at homes in Dixon Mills on Feb. 3 that resulted in the arrests of five Marengo County residents and the seizure of cash, a handgun, and cash.
Those arrested included the following:
Kindarryln Agee of Dixon Mills was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Agee’s bond was set at $10,500.
Kevin Tyrone Dixon of Dixon Mills was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances. Dixon’s bond was set at $10,500.
Felicity Simone Moore of Dixon Mills was arrested and charged with second degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore’s bond was set at $2,000.
Deshon Martez Smith of Dixon Mills was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith’s bond was set at $5,500.
Lois Stubbs of Dixon Mills was arrested and charged with first degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stubbs’ bond was set at $3,000.
“Drugs are destroying the lives of our young people in Marengo County,” said Marengo County Sheriff Richard Bates. “We must and will put a stop to illegal sells in Marengo County. With the help of the District Attorney Office and local law enforcement agencies, if you sell drugs in Marengo County you will go to jail sooner of later.”
