Robert Renner

Robert H. Renner Sr., 78, Spanish Fort, died Friday, July 11 at his home. Renner is a former resident of Linden. He was born Sept. 2, 1929 in Aurora, Ill. He was reti8red from the Alfa Insurance Company. Renner was a member of the Linden Rotary Club, the Linden Jaycees, a lifetime member of VFW Post 5377 of Linden and a member of the Linden United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at Linden United Methodist Church. Rev. Ray Bass officiated. Burial was a Linden Memorial Park.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen (Lee) Hamilton of Spanish Fort and Tammy (Mike) Moorer of Chatom; two sons, Robert H. (Tammy) Renner Jr. of Daphne and Andrew C. (Elizabeth) Renner, Demopolis; a brother, Reynolds Miller of Texas; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Neilson Renner, Ashley Hamilton, Chris Hamilton, Robert H. Renner III, Mathew Moorer, Drew Renner. Honorary pallbearers were employees of Alfa Insurance Co.
O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden directed.
