A Time To Share hosts Thanksgiving dinner

Members of A Time to Share lived up to their name on Thanksgiving Day, helping to provide a holiday meal at Hope Hill District on Pettus Street.

The group served up 249 plates for members of the community and nursing homes,

Guest servers included Dr. Ronnie Chu and his sons.

The dinner guests were welcomed by Sid Rowser of Hope Hill District. A prayer was given by the Rev. Wendell Charleston, while the food was blessed by the Rev. Fank Charleston.

The food was catered by Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

Sponsors of the event included Dr. Eric Lessmann, Dr. Ronnie Chu, the Fitz-Gerald & Perret Clinic, Colony Office Products, Chris Mullins State Farm, The Mustard Seed, St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Nazareth of Galilee Baptist Church, Mount Zion Baptist Church, Cecil Williamson, Dr. Stanhope Brasfield, Trade & Traffic, Larry Walters Furniture, Pro Nails, Suttles Trucking, Melvin Yelverton and Cattle Black.

A Time to Share expressed gratitude for all who took part in the annual event.
