Funeral services for Catherine Ayers of Chicago, Ill. (formerly of Gallion), will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, at noon at Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church in Gallion. The Rev. Moses Jones, is the pastor; the Rev. Douglas Harris will officiate.
The remains will repose at the church on Saturday, Nov. 7, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ayers Family Cemetery in Gallion. A public viewing was held on Friday, Nov. 6, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
