Theophus McGee Western passed recently in Detroit, Mich. He was the son of the late Johnny and Hellouise Western of Demopolis.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m. at the Plymouth United Church of Christ’s Haley Ball Chapel in Detroit. Committal services were held at 1 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Mich.
He is survived by his wife, Willa; a daughter, Terees; two brothers, Alphonso (Willie Mae) Western of Madison and Carl (Ruth) Western of Muskegon, Mich.; four aunts, Mary Pitts, Julia Stevenson, Inez Brownlee and Ann Young; two nieces; one nephew; one great-nephew; several cousins; and other relatives and cousins.
