Clara Worrell

Clara Jeanette Worrell, age 67, of Greensboro passed away on March 23, 2010.
She was born on April 1, 1943, in Hale County to the late Lloyd Douglas and Clara Lillie Christian Worrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Douglas Worrell.
Survivors include her son, Keith Madison of Greensboro; a sister-in-law, Amy Worrell of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Taylor Madison and Ashlyn Madison, both of Gulf Shores.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Ferguson, the Rev. Chris Kynard and the Rev. Jay Seale officiating. Burial followed in New Haven Cemetery. The family received friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Kirk Funeral Home Greensboro Chapel directed the services.
Active pallbearers were John Broussard, Rick Crawford, Sam Jackson, Raymond Lathum, Wade McCrory, Bryant Rylee, Mike Rylee and James Smith Jr. Inactive pallbearers were Tom Kynard, Rick Phares and Buddy Harris. Honorary pallbearers were the members of Macedonia Baptist Church; the past and present faculty, staff and board members of Southern Academy; Dr. William Pennington and his staff; and the staff of the SICU at Trinity Medical Center.
