Judy Black Frank, age 69, died on April 28, 2010, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1940, in Calhoun County to the late William Daffin and Bertie S. Lewis Black.
Survivors include her daughter, Jayne Ellen Rozell of New Hope; two sons, John Burke (Brenda) Jackson of Chunchula and Jay Lewis (Susan) Jackson of Rex, Ga.; a sister, Ellen Black (Hugh) Morton of Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, William Don (Christine) Black of Demopolis; three grandchildren, Travis Neal Rozell, Elizabeth (Daniel) Huggins and Rebecca (Brian) Truax; and four great-grandchildren, Makaylah Huggins, Jaxson Huggins, Morghan Truax and Zoey Truax.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega with the Rev. Michael Carpenter of New Hope United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel, which is directing the services.
